Clean Up, Workout

Don’t have time to workout?  Strap on some weights when you clean up!  Put some lunges or squats into your cleaning and you have a workout.

I take 2-pound weights, strap them to my wrists and ankles, turn on some music, and clean.

WAX ON, WAX OFF

Do a squat and reach to wipe clean.  Switch arms so that both get a workout.

Switch hands.

YARDWORK

Working in the yard is great exercise, too.  According to the National Heart Lung and Blood institute, raking leaves for 30 minutes is considered similar to a brisk walk.  Yard work can help you build your upper- and lower-body strength and core stability.
